About the event
A durable mosaic stepping stone adds color and personality to your garden or patio. Learn how to plan a design suited for outdoor use, cut and place glass or tile, and properly set and grout your mosaic for long-lasting beauty. You’ll use nippers, adhesives, and cement bases while exploring tips for working with weather-resistant materials. The techniques you learn here will prepare you for future mosaic projects such as garden pots, birdbaths, or wall art. All materials and tools are provided—just bring your creativity. With expert mosaic artist Barbara Henderson providing all of the materials and guidance, you'll gain hands-on experience with mosaic techniques while making a lasting piece of art. If you happen to have design ideas and inspirations, bring them! No previous experience is necessary to make your own stepping stone. Ages 16+
