DESCRIPTION
Design and create a custom mosaic plaque or house number to bring a personalized touch of art to your home or garden. In this two-session workshop, artist and instructor Barbara Henderson will guide you through each step of the mosaic-making process using a 9 x 20-inch precut substrate and an array of vibrant materials including glass, beads, and tile.
In the first session, you will explore layout possibilities and begin crafting your unique design. The second session will focus on completing your mosaic and preparing it for grouting. While grouting will be done at home once the adhesive has fully dried, you will receive a live demonstration, written instructions, and all necessary supplies—plus tips for achieving a professional finish. You will also be provided with resources to help you purchase a suitable frame, though frames are not included in the course fee.
